Items prohibited from school property include, but are not limited to:

• weapons of any kind
• drugs of any kind
• medications without written instructions from parents
• tobacco products
• matches
• lighters
• radios
• CD's and CD players
• cassette tapes and cassette players
• MP3 Players like iPods
• books and magazines not approved by school administration

 Prohibited items may be confiscated by school officials to be returned to parents. Further discipline for this offense is discussed under "Grounds for Dismissal" in the Handbook.

When possession of a prohibited item is suspected, a search of personal items, pockets, book bags, purses, offices, and automobiles may be conducted without student permission. The registration of a student at Lakeshore Christian School constitutes parental consent to such a search.
